Pakistanis Renew Allegiance to Ayatollah Khamenei at Karachi Conference

A large conference titled “The Journey of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and the Renewal of the Covenant of Loyalty” was held in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, drawing clerics, intellectuals, and people from diverse religious schools of thought.

Hawzah News Agency- the well-attended gathering took place in a deeply spiritual atmosphere, with participants highlighting the timeless message of Imam Hussein’s uprising and reaffirming commitment to his path of justice, resistance, and devotion to divine values.

The event brought together men and women, university students, seminary students, and families, reflecting broad-based participation across Pakistani society.

Renewal of allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution

Dr. Saeed Talebi-Nia, Director General of the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, attended the conference and commended its organizers. During the event, participants signed a petition renewing their allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Special educational and cultural programs were also organized for children, including painting, puzzles, and interactive activities, which were warmly received by families in attendance.

Imam Khamenei, standard-bearer of resistance against global arrogance

Addressing the conference, Sunni scholar Dr. Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui said the caravan of Imam Hussein (PBUH) continues to stand firm against falsehood in the present era.

“Yesterday, Imam Hussein (PBUH) guided the Ummah, and today the son of Ali (PBUH), Imam Khamenei, carries the banner of resistance against global tyranny,” he said.

He added that while the world often falls silent in the face of Donald Trump’s outbursts, the voice of Imam Khamenei awakens free people across the globe and disrupts unjust calculations, expressing confidence that the Islamic Revolution of Iran will ultimately lead to the triumph of truth worldwide.

Western silence over Gaza genocide condemned

Dr. Siddiqui strongly criticized Western governments for their silence over what he described as the genocide in Gaza, while at the same time supporting unrest, arson attacks on mosques and public places, and violence in Iran.

He emphasized that, at a single signal from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, millions of young people in Iran and Pakistan stand ready to make sacrifices.

The resistance of Karbala remains alive

Hojatoleslam Seyyed Nazer Abbas Taqavi, a senior member of Pakistan’s Shia Ulema Council, said the resistance movement of Imam Hussein (PBUH) remains alive and dynamic and will continue until the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH).

“Today, this Hussaini and Mahdavi resistance is flowing under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei,” he said, adding that if martyrdom could have stopped resistance, the Karbala movement would have ended centuries ago. “Instead, the resistance of Karbala lives on and defeats the enemy.”

He also urged Pakistani media outlets not to fall under the influence of hostile propaganda, calling on them to convey the thought and school of Imam Khamenei rather than echo campaigns against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution present in the field

Referring to the courage of Ayatollah Khamenei, Taqavi noted that while Zionists were hiding in shelters, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution was present among the people, leading Friday prayers attended by millions.

Unity under the banner of Imam Khamenei

Pakistani educator Fatemeh Sabzevari said achieving justice requires active commitment to the path leading to the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH).

“If we are loyal to our covenant with Imam Hussein (PBUH), today we must unite under the leadership of Imam Khamenei,” she said, warning that both Iran and Pakistan are targets of hostile forces and stressing that the Muslim world must defend both nations.

A caravan moving toward God

Hojatoleslam Aqil Mousa, a Pakistani cleric, said that from a Qur’anic perspective, a caravan that rises solely for God is today moving under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

“Failing to accompany this caravan leads only to loss,” he said, adding that the revival of religion in the present era is a direct result of the resistance movement initiated by Imam Hussein (PBUH).

Love beyond borders

Professor Munawar Abbas also addressed the gathering, stating that love for Imam Hussein (PBUH) demands steadfast resistance against oppression.

“This path began in Karbala and will continue until the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH),” he said. “We, the people of Pakistan, renew our allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and declare to the enemies that our devotion to the deputy of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, transcends all borders.”
